Class II Digital Signature
Digital Signature Quick Start Guide:
  1. Prepare Your Computer and Browser: (Follow the detailed steps below)
    1. Install USB Token drive from the CD you received in the pack if you wish to use USB Token for securing your Digital Signature. Using USB token is recommended for security reasons.
    2. If you do not have USB token available at the time of enrollment, you may download your DSC on your PC. It would be possible to import DSC in USB token at a later point.
    3. Your computer must have Windows NT, 2000, XP and Internet Browser 5.5 or above.
    4. Active-X controls need to be enable in your internet browser.
      1. Open a Browser (Internet Explorer).
      2. Go to tools >>Internet Option>>Security
      3. Select Custom Settings
      4. Set all options for Active X Plug-ins to Enable and click OK to close the dialog.
    5. Set security to Medium from your internet browser.
    6. Open a Browser (Internet Explorer).
    7. Go to tools >>Internet Option>>Security
    8. Click 'Default Settings' and set to 'Medium'
  2. Register to Create your account to manage Digital Signature Certificate(s).
    1. Click on "New User? Register" and fill the form correctly and click submit.
    2. Select "Individual User" in Type of user.
    3. Please make sure that you provide correct and working e-Mail address which forms your identity in digital world.
  3. Enroll for obtaining Digital Signature Certificate.
    1. Completing above step will open a Personalized Certificate Management Center.
    2. You can now proceed with Step-1 to enroll for digital certificate where you will fill the registration information.
    3. Double check all the information since it can't be corrected later.
    4. In Cryptographic Service Provider, select the name of the USB driver you have installed in step-1 above.
    5. If you are downloading DSC on your computer (not on USB token) then select "Microsoft Enhanced Cryptographic Provider v1.0" at the end of the enrollment form.
    6. Click on Generate Request button.
    7. Print the Certificate Enrollment Form which contains Enrollment Request number which appears on your screen after online request is generated.
  4. Complete the hard copy of Application form and send it to Registering Authority office.
    1. Download and print Certificate request form.
    2. Complete the hard copy of the form and send it to RA office address provided in the form or submit the form to CISPL Digital Certificate Facilitation Center in your city.
    3. Please make sure that application form is accompanied with attested photocopy of ID proof and Enrollment Form printed in above step.
    4. Send the duly filled application form along with the DD or Cheque payable at par. Alternatively you may deposited cheque locally in our HDFC A/c No. 05022560004650 by adding Rs. 35/- to the amount against Romming Account Clearing Charges. DD to be drawn in favor of "Chartered Information Systems Pvt. Ltd." payable at Nagpur. e-Transfer Details - RTGH / NEFT IFS Code HDFC0000502
  5. Download Digital Signature (at a later date or time) after you receive e-mail once your DSC is ready for download.
    1. Downloading of Digital Signature will be possible only after RA office or DCFC receives completed registration form.
    2. Once your certificate is signed digitally by TCS-CA, you will receive automatic e-mail on the user id you had given at the time of registration with password to download your Digital Signature Certificate.
    3. Login to your personalized certificate management center using your user id and password and follow the instructions given in Step-4 to download your Digital Signature Certificate.
